They have their JOB, a.k.a. "just over broke" because they feel the need to support their family, to put sustenance on the dinner table and pay for necessities such as clothes, the electric bill, television, gas for the car, and so on.
They dream about things they "know" they can never have. That luxury sports car, a 6 bedroom home with 2 acres and a 4 car garage, a vacation home and being able to travel to exotic destinations whenever they want. Right... They are definitely not entrepreneurs!
Entrepreneurs are exceptional individuals who have an absolute passion to succeed. They know precisely what they want. Their blood starts to boil and they get excited just thinking about it!
They visualize their dreams daily. The specific goals that will get them to where they want to be are written down in detail. They They have a written plan for success!
They wake up early, filled with electrical excitement, feeling their energy building for the day. They have a smile on their face before they even get out of the sack!
No, this is not a sign of mental illness! Rather it's a direct sign of mental wellness. They know what they want, have a plan, and are willing to do whatever it takes to get there (as long as it's honest and based on integrity!).
They can't wait to bolt out of bed and get to work on their dreams. They set an amazing inspirational example for everyone else.
Daily actions to get them closer to their goals and dreams are a part of the compounding baby steps taken regularly.
Focus, discipline and follow through are characteristics they exhibit daily. They are in the midst of leadership transformation, of developing a leadership mindset.
Growing up, one of my favorite single picture comics was a piece my parents had framed, hanging in their master bathroom. There was a picture of a man in boxer shorts, looking down in shock as he had gone out of the house. The caption read "Leaders aren't born, they're made!" Nothing could be more true.
Success takes passion and hard work. It often takes reconditioning, breaking the habits that have been subconsciously built and established over time that have gotten us to where we are... and kept us stuck there.

Passion is based on and starts with your why. To find it, begin with your purpose, your mission or cause. It used to drive me crazy when I met someone who knew exactly what their passion was.
